With exclusive access to the whole of the formal wing of the house and grounds you can really make yourself at home. Our three reception rooms will be reserved just for you, and you have have the option to take on the Balcony Suite and guest bedrooms upstairs for B&B (sleeps 6).
Smaller wedding parties of 50 can enjoy the whole celebration in the house, from the ceremony and drinks reception to the wedding breakfast and evening party with 30 additional evening guests. For larger groups, we can hold a drinks reception inside for up to 120, and a marquee can be used to accommodate everyone for the wedding breakfast and festivities.
We offer complimentary use of a stunning Balcony Suite for the married couple, comprising large bathroom, bedroom and one of the best rooms in the house: This large, airy sitting room with impressive balcony could be used by the bride and her entourage to get ready for the big day, and by the bride and groom for breakfast the following morning.
Enter the house through the impressive portico, into the imposing double-height hall with its beautiful cupola. The hall is spacious, and connects the reception rooms, all of which are styled with period French furniture, paintings and antiques.
At the end of the hall is the Dining Room, a 10m x 5m room with large windows running down its length. This gives the room a beautiful light throughout the day, and lovely views over the grounds. There are two fires here, both of which can be used on cooler days.
The Dining Room is a truly special setting for an intimate dinner. Fifty people can be seated on round tables, or if you would prefer to dine in banqueting style, then one long table running the length of the room can seat 38.
The Dining Room can seat 60 for a wedding ceremony, and can also be used for the evening entertainment.
Steeped in elegance with French Empire Furniture and a magnificent bay window with views of the lake, this is a beautiful room.
There is a grand piano so you could entertain your guests with a pianist during the drinks reception, or simply use the Drawing Room as a quieter sitting room during the evening entertainment, with chairs and sofas pulled up close to the log fire.
The Drawing Room is licensed to seat 50 for a wedding ceremony, and is also a lovely space to cut the cake, and can also be used for the evening entertainment.
